The challenge.
The new look InterBulk Group was formed through the merger of several intermodal logistics company. As a result, InterBulk required an identity that reflected the new combined group. The new company now served customers from different market sectors, from chemicals to food. They had to continue to market themselves to these customers, but presented as one global company.
The solution.
In response to this brief, we developed a new brand identity and guidelines that reflected the new, combined group whilst paying homage to the individual companies that were acquired.
In order for InterBulk to market to different sectors, distinctions had to be made between the divisions of the group; food bulk, liquid bulk, dry bulk and bulk chemicals. We approached this through devising a colour coded system, where each division featured an individual colour scheme to differentiate it from the other divisions. The concept was applied to a range of marketing materials, including a series of corporate brochures, exhibitions stands, posters, adverts, folders with inserts, calenders, engraved glasses – and even branded cufflinks.
The result.
This approach helped to generate awareness of the new company within the different sectors and enabled InterBulk to grow and develop overall business.
