Niki Jones branding & printing.

The challenge.

Niki Jones is a new homewares and interiors company offering contemporary products made using traditional craft techniques, all of which are uniquely hand made. We were asked to help launch the company and help them tell their story with conviction and personality.

The solution.

Firstly we developed the logotype to reflect the company’s foundations – a modern font married with a more traditional one. We created the positioning concept of ‘Fill Your Home with Stories’, referencing the birth journey of each item – also applied to the catalogues to group products together. We developed a balance within the catalogues of the brand understanding – its background and ethics – and the products. Pages were laid out in a pace which allowed the reader to enjoy half and full page spreads of the products, showing both home settings and detail. We commissioned the photography and illustration working closely with Niki on art direction to make the overall theme stylish and unique.

The result.

Niki Jones had a hugely successful launch and within a year had stood out as a major player within the UK interiors market. It has a unique look and feel to other homeware competitors. The company exceeded financial forecasts and recently won a ‘best emerging talent’ award.
