SIE annual report.

The challenge.

SIE aim to make enterprise and entrepreneurship accessible to all students in Scotland. The charity inspires students to discover their entrepreneurial talent and start up student businesses and social enterprises.

They required various marketing items including an annual report aimed at stakeholders and their annual magazine called Ignite (featured), which had previously come across a bit ‘yoof’ and patronising.

The solution.

The annual report incorporated the circles which are such a prominent part of their identity. The route we took with the magazine was to make it more like a style mag, to encourage more interest amongst the target age group. Each article was individually designed around its subject matter and we commissioned appropriate illustration to compliment the theme. Pages like the contents and calender were approached in a new way for added visual interest. We wanted it to become a piece of literature someone would want to keep and study further, and show to their mates. We worked closely with the client which resulted in us also having input into the content.

The result.

SIE were impressed with the creativity within our approach. The work has allowed the organisation to take their profile to the next level and boost their brand to their target audience across Scotland.
